You know what’s fun, if you’re a word nerd like me? Grammar and word debates.
So, here’s a question: what is an appropriate plural of “Guinness?”
If you and some friends enjoyed a couple of pints of this world-renowned beer (not to throw my fandom out there too much) can you get away with saying, “Man, I enjoyed meeting you for a few Guinni”?
‘Guinnesses’ just sounds awkward. Maybe the correct is to just say “a few Guinness.” But come on, isn’t ‘Guinni’ kind of ridiculous and fun? Outsiders to the conversation might have no idea what you’re talking about, and I enjoy coded conversations.
